Having reached 1 million fans on Facebook Cadbury Dairy Milk wanted to say thank you to everyone who had clicked ‘like’ in a way that only we could.
Broadcast through a two day live stream we gave the community a giant chocolate Thumbs Up to say thanks.The community played an active role throughout the project by adding their own chunk to the structure, sending messages of support to our live studio facebook wall and requesting waves, shout outs and renditions of the conga from the workers.
The build was documented through video, photos and inforgraphics, encouraging further engagement. Our final task was to tell the wider world about the campaign and through our outreach strategy we were featured in over 100 publications including the Daily Mirror, Telegraph, Metro and Yahoo.
At the end of the project we donated the chocolate to a company specializing in renewable bio fuels.
