Tiny Streaker -
Freeview
We were hired to help amplify a tactical World Cup campaign for Freeview, developed by our friends down at 18 Feet and Rising. The campaign featured a character called ‘Tiny Streaker’ who’s moment had arrived at the 2010 World Cup, especially now ‘free HD’ had arrived in the form of the newly launched Freeview HD service.
A carefully orchestrated campaign saw the character launch to the world ‘unbranded’ before being ‘spotted by Freeview’ and sponsored in time for the World Cup. The character was then used as a device to build the Freeview fanbase (& therefore community) as to push out promotions & competitions during the World Cup, including the hugely sought after ‘Tiny Streaker Commemorative Plate’. Yes, really.
