Started in 2009 to launch the Nokia N900, Push has a simple premise: we work with design, creative and maker communities to develop new inventions and experiences from Nokia devices. These creations and the content around them are then used to market the Nokia brand and its products.

We asked makers to connect the N900 to something they loved. From hundreds of global submissions, we funded the creation of eight and the process was followed via the Push blog, social updates and films.

The final prototypes – including flying N900s and augmented skateboards – were launched at events in London and Las Vegas.

Push N900 was covered repeatedly in the media, reaching over 25m people. More than 250,000 people engaged online, 2,800 hours of Push footage was viewed on YouTube, and we delivered a ROI exceeding 400%. With Push N900 content now driving the latest global Nokia TV campaign, this is just the start for Push.
