Nokia Push is an experiential marketing programme with a simple premise: we work with design, creative and maker communities to develop new inventions and experiences from Nokia devices. These creations and the content around them are then used to market the Nokia brand and its products.

Eight new inventions launched the Nokia N900. Two of these were used to launch the Nokia N8, a device boasting an awesome HD 12MP video-recording capability.

Fuelled by both inventions, the Nokia N8 TV campaign was Nokia’s first community-created TV advertising. The Nokia N8 launch campaign then invited people to submit film ideas on how to use the inventions. The best will be chosen by the community, with the winners receiving the productized inventions and devices to shoot their films.

Launched in September 2010 at Nokia World, Push N8 has already exceeded its submissions target, garnering massive media coverage.
